Amanda Palmer — musician, performance artist, viral TED Talk-er, social media maven with millions of followers — recently read her own audiobook, THE ART OF ASKING. The audiobook, due out this November, includes an original exclusive performance of Amanda’s “Bigger on the Inside,” as well as music from The Dresden Dolls, Ben Folds, Walt Ribeiro, and Sxip Shirey. Amanda and her husband Neil Gaiman (also a huge audiobook fan/creator) have been talking up the title to their enormous fan-bases through social media and beyond. For Amanda, the recording process was unexpectedly emotional, as well as rewarding.
