The May 28th Membership Meeting highlighted details of activities and programing from 2013-14, as well as upcoming initiatives.
The APA’s 2014-2015 Officers of the Board:

Election results: New Director Anne Fonteneau (Blackstone Audio) joins returning Board members Todd Hoyt (eChristian), Troy Juliar (Recorded Books, LLC), Mary Beth Roche (Macmillian Audio), Beth Anderson (Audible, Inc.), Laura Colebank (Tantor Media, Inc.), Tavia Gilbert (Talkbox), Anthony Goff (Hachette Audio), Katherine Punia (Penguin Random House Audio).
Three proposal effecting members dues and categories were also approved.
Change to gross sales volume criterion for Regular Member Category 5:
Currently, Category 5 Regular Member is defined as an audio publisher having less than $1 million in gross sales volume during the most recent fiscal year. The new proposal would change the eligibility to between $500,000 and $1 million in gross sales volume during the most recent fiscal year.
Creation of a new Category 6 Regular Member:
Create a new Category 6 Regular Member, defined as a publisher with less than $500,000 in gross sales volume during the most recent fiscal year.

The APA’s management contract with CMA is coming to an end. The board is engaged in a search for an Executive Director and management company services. Members should contact Michele Cobb for information and RFP details.
